No offense, but who is Shawn Solomito and what has he done in the past few years?

He's from long island and he drove the #68 last year a few times at the bowl. That was the first I've heard of him. He didn't do that bad as far as I can remember. This year he was driving the #00. The night of the so called "shortened race" he got airborne on the front stretch and landed hard. He wasn't at the bowl this past weekend. But now it looks like he'll be driving for a different team. I believe the guy they call Muffy can give you more info.

Shawn is an out of pocket racer from Long Island. He ran a few races last season with very respectable finishes. He had a few chances to win in his own equipment, but things did not end up that way because of a broken trani or the car oveheated or because of a bad call for jumping the start when the other guy missed a gear. Thats racin. We did not crash out of any of the half dozen or so races in 2009. He is a wheelman that is easy on equipment. He just needs someone to see him run and give him a chance. As you said Pual....no one knows who he is. With the right ride, people will......

Shawn is a good shoe and I told him and his crew that and a win is not far away. I have been watching him from his first day at the track last year and he has impressed me with the way he drives. I am glad he is coming back but I would have liked to see him take a win in his own car before moving on to another car. Glad to have him back he a great Kid
