I'm not quite sure why Gunning was allowed to run when Eddie Reed was told he couldn't compete due to his experience. While I see why the track would keep Eddie from racing, It does not make much sense to then allow Gunning to run.

That is true. All I know is that Buckler said that Gunning got that ride at the last minute because the regular driver was sick.

After watching vid several times,i still see it as a common speedbowl wreck. If anything 27 was all wiggle wobbling got squirly and his r.rear found 57 l.front and that usualy dont work. I really can't put actual blame either way. that's just racin at the bowl, fast and tight so stinky stuff happens.

In the Sk-lites only 3 cars that were there that were not the 1st time are stafford cars, the 84,31 and 9. They may or may not return but the way joey ran unless the car is wrecked why not come back. The SK-lite division could really develope if they stick to it.

Yeah after watching it I can't believe how tyler made his RR jump into the air by magic.

Tyler didn't need magic to jump his RR...his car was junk going into 3 and the rear of his car slid up and rocco caught him with his LF.... So if you want to be technical.... he didn't run rocco up but he (27) did cause the accident..then jumping out of the car freaking out on rocco like he wanted to fight him...grow up.

I re-watched that sucker over and over and i just dont see keith moving down, all i see is the 27 getting wiggly on the bottom and then kabang. I dont want to say Tyler caused it because i dont really think either driver caused it per-say. They were racing hard and crashed. I will say that a different angle could look different but from that clip,i dont see either driver doing anything wrong. It dont take much at the bowl to get those results. Still thankfull they got out and are able to be mad at each other cause that was a hard crash for both.

Now I wasn't at the race but from the video it looks like Keith rubbed Tyler just before entering turn 3 and then rubbed him again in turn 3 sending Tyler up and around. I understand that sometimes the video doesn't show the best view of what happened but I still say thanks to Sid for the footage. What about Keith going 4 wheels under the white line going into turn 1 for the lead. At one time the Bowl had a rule of staying on the race track to pass cars. Keith has perfected this move. Just my opinion and how I viewed it, everyone will have their own opinion.

in this video that was actually Jeff Pearl that went low in turn one to pass Keith in Monahan's 78
