My only question is how come no one was complaining when Brad V was so dominant in that division or (forgive the spelling) D Adirio. I can remember when they both use to come from the back of the field and make their way to the front. Sounds like sour grapes to me. I have to agree with car chief do your home work.

yes Matt they were i may be wrong on the number but i believe Curt D'Dario Sr. had 10 wins in 1 season (2006 i believe) when he drove the 68 and it was the following year that they instituted the adding weight rule... which i will say i disagree with because you should be penalized for doing your homework and working on your car or winning however i do agree that if your caught cheating you have to add weight but dont penalize the legal guy (if theres any left out there  ) for having what it takes to win.

If the guy does his homework awesome, but Terry needs cars in the pits and fans int he stands. One guy killing the entire field every single race doesn't add excitement and will eventually kill the excitement for that division. Bruce is a great driver with a team that prepares more than a brain surgeon does, but I eventually used the latemodel race to get a beer. If the bowl adds weight, it's not because they hate the guy, it's because they need a good show and the competitiors need to feel they have a shot at winning. Otherwise, no one shows up.

nothing in racing looks as sloppy as a front wheel drive car trying to corner...period
BTW people..has anyone noticed the same car has finished 2nd every race and spanked the rest of the field just as soundly?Wonder why you're all not crying about that?

A front wheel drive car will actually go around the bowl better than a RWD one.

If someone took the time to build up a Scirocco ministock it'd smoke the entire field.

For what it's worth, I love seeing FWD cars three wheel around corners.

Point proven Saturday night.

That FWD Golf absolutely dominated.

Only because their rules package allows for what he was doing. Had our guys been able to do half of what they did to that Golf, it wouldn't have been so dominant. I thought it was cool though. He had a very big rules violation according to the Northeast ministock tour rules also.

Did it have anything to do with the tires sticking out 6 inches on each side?

No, they are allowed any offset on the wheels and a 7" or 8" width.

His was a big aero advantage. The whole tail piece had huge holes in it. Illegal according to their rules

Now, if they had to play by our rules, that car wouldn't have been anywhere near as dominant. He was 2 inches lower, big offset on the rims, etc. A Scirocco would not dominate the ministocks with the current rules. It would do very nicely in the x-car division however.
