Nahh nothing to be sorry about steve, while you mis-understood i also jumbled 2 points in 1 posting and wasnt clear so call it a wash.... But idk that 57 is fast, with timely cautions i bet he could start last and win. top 3 at worst. As for the trucks engine rule is high rev 4 or V-8,what ever that means. couldnt find a chassis spec but seems like they are diff. I think i may have confused them with new england truck series. I can admit makein a boo boo too

Cool. yeah, he sure is fast, no doubt. Have to agree, with the right cautions he would do it and def. top 3 like you said.

The chassis are production based.

Two motor choises, either a "High revving(7.5-9k rpm)" 4 cylinder, or a V8.

WOW i just looked at the Speedbowl site and DAMN i dont want to spend an extra $18 to watch a Super Mod 50 lap race. But what I really feel bad about is the guys and girls going into the the pits that are going to spend $50 (if they don't have a nascar liscense). What I want to know is does anyone in this "blogland" think its fair to make your normal saturday night divisions pay more to get into the pits just because ISMA mods are racing?

The regular divisions pay more at every track when there's a special show, i.e. the touring series, the ACT tour, etc. As far the Nascar license, those without one pay more on regular nights as well. I love the supers. They scare the heck out of me cuz' they're "crazy fast" (that's my new phrase, thanks Chris Meyer), but I love em'. I'll pay the extra.

Many moons ago we were running a pro-stock at Stafford and on the Friday nights they had the tour cars they would rotate a weekly division off. Well, the mod tour was coming and the pro-stocks were off that Friday. Well, we had a rain out feature to make up. Now remember, we had already paid addmission for a regular week and our feature was rained out and we were first told we would make it up in two weeks except, Jack Arute thought he could get more people to pay the $45 to get in if he added our rain out to the tour night the next week. So we had to go and pay the tour ticket price along with the rest of the pro-stock division and their fans (if they wanted to) just to run a make up race. We didn't even get a discounted ticket price. But, the tour cars get reduced prices for 5 crew members I believe. Just another way of nascar saying thanks, come again!

When i first saw this price i was very upset and was not going to go,but after a week of thinking and 2 good nights at thompson and stafford and my love of the supers i have decided not to be a bowl regular anymore. If the specials are going to be jacked up this much more than double,Im just gonna stay home more and go every now and then instead of every week. Tonight will be the 1st sat i will miss in about 7 years. With enjoyin going to all 3 tracks it has just come to the time i had to make a choice. Have a good night everyone, and good luck to all the drivers.

I could stomach a $5 raise, but not a $15. That's the equiv to going to a Wednesday night program at the same time.
