I'm going to write this in the hopes that positive, constructive critisism can be handled without the original poster resorting to calling someone a child because he has a different opinion. I also hope the moderators will understand this is not a personal attack. I sincerely hope that this may result in a better board and maybe better exchanges of information, ideas and opinions. A lot of us remember the original Ctautoracing board and hope to never see something like that again.

Here we have a person who posts a "recap" every week, and then goes on to say "But you have to know I write this review 24 hours after the event. I can't remember every detail". Then why write a recap? If the details are not important, and other people's views and opinions are not important, then everyone can just read the newspaper and get it better.

Another doozy was this precious bit...."To me it looked like Danny was going for the lead but did not have Cassidy cleared". I have news for you.... Danny was IN the lead. He led lap 22 and 23. Kenny was going for the lead when Dan tried to stop the attempt by turning/pinching down into Ken. The contact resulting in Dan spinning and the proper call being made by the track in not punishing Kenny for the contact that resulted in the leader being spun.

Another little gripe here. One person called for the topic to be locked because he was being given a little flack for his lack of attention to detail and his badmouthing of drivers, and the result is his post is "cleaned up" and the subject locked?!? Seriously? So, I can post rubbish and general babblings and misinformation too, and when someone starts calling me out on it, I'll call him a child and ask for the subject to be locked.

"So is the Bowl still going to turn a blind eye .......Guess they will." Take it up with the bowl. See what their reason is. I'd be willing to bet it is not the amount of cars in the field, but their lack of being able to run substantial amounts of laps without cautions. The amount of time for their cautions would also be a factor, as they almost always have to be carried off the track instead of just pushed or towed. That is usually the reason for not giving extra laps. Ever think that maybe the drivers themselves may think that 20 laps is a pretty good distance. I love the 50 lappers, but wouldn't want to do 50 laps every week.

My last little bit of a rant here is the atrocious spelling. Look, I (and others I'm sure) would be more than willing to help out in this department. Even if this means e-mailing someone a copy to be proofed. The big papers do it. It's a common practice and seriously needed. The second "original" sentence brought the same mis-spelling of two different words in 2 different contexts. "ware we can ware"? ....where we can wear....is more like it.
Some people may consider the constant lack of grammar and punctuation and ability to form better sentence structure to be minor and petty, but I would like to remind people that other people read this board also...to include children. As we dumb down our abilities to properly communicate, we are perpetuating and compounding this problem by teaching others that it "isn't a big deal" either.
I honestly cringe sometimes at the verabge in these recaps and other postings, and hope that others are not learning from them or by them.

You know what? I'm done. Make your own d**m recap. You spend two hours Thinking, Typing, Spelling, Correcting, Constant Editing.

I started this because NO ONE WAS! No one steeped up to the plate. So I thought I'd go ahead and do so. But since your all unsatisfied then you step up to the plate and do it your self.

I said I was sorry for what I said It was a mistake. People make mistakes it's human nature. But someone had to drag it on, someone I have decide to never talk to or respond to no more.

Steve P.S. I'm sooooooo sorry that my spelling is not up to your standards.

This hole thing was for fun, to tell you all what I, Seen and Heard. But I don't find this fun anymore when people are going to attack me for what I feel, what I forget and how I spell. I'm done posting here in this topic and I'm no longer making recaps.

Looks like I'll have to start doing Wednesday recaps on this PC, starting this week.
