When the Bowls Schedule came out I seen this on the 2010 schedule.

*(Waterford) 7/10/2010 NWAAS OFF Special Event TBA - NWAAS off

Now it's not on the schedule. Anyone know what is going down? Or is that now just a week off for everyone?

See that's how messed up rumors can be. I heard dancing clams and old fashioned girls from Vegas! Go figure?

That's Sailfest Weekend (always the weekend following the 4th of July) which is typically a weak drawing event for the 'bowl since people from throughout the state flock down to the Thames River harbor in either Groton or New London for the huge fireworks that night. I personally would rather be at the 'bowl watching the races instead of fighting the mob and traffic to see the fireworks, but think it's a good move by the track to give the Sat divisions the week off!

Who knows why it's not on schedule anymore - maybe for reasons above they decided not to have any "special TBA event" and just shut it down for the night altogether. Just guessin' though, haven't talked to the BOD.

Hmmm didnt know vegas still had old fashioned girls.... Im with you Sid id rather go to the bowl then spend endless hours in traffick and a mob scene for 5 mins of oooooooo's and ahhhhhhh's.
whatever the reason i wish would just make a decsion and release a complete schedule. Dates to be announced at later dates really irk me.

The July 10th event is still on the schedule on the website... it's under the promotional drop down menu. For some reason it won't show up in the full schedule mode because of a code error in the CMS. It is also still posted on the printable PDF schedule which I recently updated today. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you Mcaise

Sid I agree I rather be at the Bowl then seeing fireworks. But I got a spot ware I can see the fireworks with out any traffic and it's only 1 mile form my house lol. 8-)

Gil, Steve S. Now the rumors I heard is that they will have cooked Chicken and Shriner's. lol

LuvtheMods I to would love to see a 100% complete schedule but just knowing what is coming up will do for now I can wait for the prices in till that week comes by.
