What the Heck!? I just check the schedule and they just magically disappear. I was very impressed with them and they moved into the top 5 of my fav. I was looking forward for them to come back. looks like I'll be calling the bowl tomorrow. This really ticks me off.

So you'd rather see someone killed for your enjoyment?

There is always a risk in driving. When it's driving on the road or on a race track, ask anyone.

And no I don't want to see someone die. But I did not hear a word what happened to the driver that flipped Saturday. No one has mention anything so I'm assuming he made it out of there just fine.

But heck Matt we should take the Legend Cars out of the schedule to. That Paul kid broke his leg in that crash opening night. We don't want anyone to die so we should take the X-cars out as well. Last year was it? That the driver had to be air lifted off the track by a chopper?

Or what about the SK's? We see people flip quite a few times over the years I still remember Wendell Dailey's bad crash in the straight away more then 2 or was it 3 years ago? We should just stop racing now before someone in any car dies. Is that what you want Matt?

Crashing in racing happens all the time, sometimes you just have to hope no one gets hurt. It's a fact ask anyone.

A Kart going at 75mph is a HELL of a lot more dangerous than a full body car or even an SK or legend.

There are no crumple zones in a Kart, your body is the place that all that shock is transferred to.

Then what do you suggest we ban all kart or midget racing?

I always hear rumors that someone died back when the bowl ran karts on their own night in the past, I still don't know the truth and only went to watch once when they raced way back then.

Upside down, in the fence karts on a track like this would get the plug pulled fast if i ran the place also. I liked to watch them. They ran a pretty good show everytime they were there but the wrecking they've done in a few shows isn't worth it. i wonder if it's the track, the series or both that agreed this wasn't really a smart thing to do?

A midget has crumple zones and the big wing up top to absorb much of the impact.

A kart has no suspension, and nothing to absorb the shock of the impact aside from your body. You hit a wall doing 75mph and your body is the only thing that will be trying to overcome all the impacts you are taking.

So yes, they should ban karting that races around the big track at the 'Bowl.

If you wanna race big karts(not the SXR's, those are fine, they don't go fast enough) at the bowl, build a little track that uses the front stretch of the big track, much like the Little Mile at Stafford.
