NEEDS to be suspended for at least 10 races after that "payback" move on Kez.

While I usually do not like that type of pay back and I am sure Cuz wasn't figure'n on Krashalotski take'n a flip, nascar did say they were going to let the drivers police themselves and Krash never gives anyone space and if it hadn't been Cuz it may have been any number of others cuase he has it coming from more than one. I wish he had waited for a short track but both Cuz's and Sliced Bread's day was screwed very early cause Krash couldn't give an inch.

Nascar has to either let the drivers polices themselves or they need to but one or the other. It's like mom letting you do something but dad giving you a whoop'n for it, a mixed message.

nascar made the mess by say'n go for it and the bobble heads in the booth were all happy about it cause it sounded exciting but man, did they do a 180.

And while I'm on my soap box, DW is the poster boy for inhaling to much race fuel exhaust. Between his and mush mouth's stupid humor and mistakes I wish I could adjust the tv to only hear Mike Joy.

just my 0.04

Let them police them self's. In two weeks we will see a fight instead of a 300 to 400 lap yawn fest. come on people for the first 200 laps of today's race the most that happened was flat tires. Then the crashing and revenge went down. It made for some sweet racing. I agree it was not cool of Carl but if NASCAR steps in then nothing has changed and we will go back to driver driving like old grand mothers and i'll back to sleep.

I don't have a crystal ball, but it very well could have been the #9 that won if the yellow didn't fly. Either one of those three (2, 42 or 9) deserved to win they all ran good all race. I liked how Kenseth snuck in for a cool 2nd. But when you look at the points, Kenseth got 170 (finished 2nd never lead), montoyota 170 (finished 3rd 165 & lead +5) Kahne 170 (finished 4th 160, lead +5 & lead the most +5) pretty cool all three earned the same while Ku. Busch earned 190 (1st 185 & lead +5).

I just want him to get an oval win, he's had the worst luck over the past few years.

Well if nascar had steped up to the plate and taught punk boy a lesson themselves last year things may be different now. The kid had it coming, i been just waitin to see who and when.

Im all for retaliation, it add exitement the sport has lost over the years. There is a time and a place for it thought and Atlanta is NOT the place for it. This is what nascar asked for and they got it.

Had he just spun threw the grass like what generly happens then no big deal. But take todays result combined with video of him blatanly turning right. Carl crossed the line and i have to say park him for a race.

Nobody was touchin engine 9 had that race went green

From a drivers point of view, I'm all for a little payback WHEN APPROPRIATE and at an appropriate time/place. That was not it. As far as all the people saying NASCAR shouldn't step in because of "what they said earlier this year with the "have at it boys" comment", a reality check will tell you that NASCAR still has to intervene and police when it is needed. It was needed here. This was not a shoving match between 2 racers for position. This was not a tap in the turn to loosen a guy up and slide by while giving him the "your number one" gesture. This was a very many laps down guy, taking out a top 5 guy, at a track with speeds in excess of Daytona/Dega, in the worst possible place on the track. Carl can say he wanted to put him in the grass all he wants.... that is not going to happen on that spot on the track.
As far as what happened earlier in the race, even Carl said oops, guess it wasn't Bards fault as much as he thought it was. Dega?, that was way more Carls fault again. Brad couldn't go below the line, and Carl was cutting left. Personally, I could care less about Brad K, and even less still, about Carl.
Policing themselves is great, but NASCAR should still step in for extenuating circumstances.

I think the fact that he was several laps down and the other was 5th or so is why it happened there.

Edwards had nothing to lose. Why wreck him out of 25th somewhere else and chance wrecking your good racecar also? It was a pretty good plan that got out of control. You ruin my day, i'll ruin yours.
