Had a great time at the 'bowl last night....I loved seeing alot of hard, clean racing. The SK race was a typical caution filled but exciting race. Congrats to Anthony Flannery on his first LM win...good to see that.

Clean? Where was the clean at? All night they were making all the right calls until they decided its ok for 57 to hit 4 on payback. I dont care green/caution circumstance whatever. Keith put ronnie around and got away with it. Case closed. Congrats to all winners and JP cause he won the race just didnt get the trophy. 57 should never have been there to begin with

It was a good night. I don't know why they started heats at 6. For me that extra 10 or 20 minutes before the features start. Allow me to walk around the back of the stands get a picture and an Ice-cream.

All the races were pretty tame. Streets Stock numbers were up. The SKL were lacking in numbers. But just like any new division you have to give them time. Super-X gave one heck of a show. And The Late Models. Who ever thought that they would go WGC? The Mini Stock had a good race. 8-)

And the SK's had one race that will be talked about for a long time. Even if your a Rocco hater or a Rocco fan you have to admit he is a driver on a mission. Love him or hate him he is not going anywhere. I did thought that Jeff had the win going into the last three laps. Ron looked like he could have done it but the video tells the story. Check out Sids SK video if you want to see the race and or missed it. ;)

Last night I talked to a few people. And I was surprised to hear that most of the people I talked to were from MA and RI. A few old timers that were sitting behind me skipped Seekonk that night and went to the bowl. They said they had A LOT of fun. So I hope they will come more. :)

Next week 30$ Price tag is going to be hard on my wallet but it's worth it. I'm happy they they spaced out the big pricey events. See you all next week. :P

Dont get wrong i had a good time, glad i went but. Everyone in the place knew 57 was mad at 4,knew he was gonna wack him and he did. Does it matter if the caution flag came out at aprox the same time? No it does not he put him around on purpose and should have penalized for it,If they had been incedental then yea no harm no foul, but there was alot of foul to that one. I defend Keith alot as i feel he does take alot of heat for his natural aggresiveness, but in this case it was a bs call,he made intentional contact with another car. Also 27 shoulda been black flagged to begin with and that wreck would have never happened. Ronnie went to the back, janovic went to the back, why not keith? Intentional contact is intentional contact period. To me it is anyway. I beleive i recall people saying a few weeks ago when palmer nudged bruce under caution and jason was gettin killed here. Well here it is same story different circumstances but its ok for this week just dont anybody else do it. It definately didnt lack exitement though.

Does anyone know why 2 of the SK Lites started the SK feature but disappeared by the first caution?

dunno, according to our rules it secifically states that we are not allowed to run both events. Wish the bowl would clarify... From our rules:

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:
All drivers and owners must have a NASCAR CHD or CHO (Charger Division Driver or Owner) or higher
license. Drivers competing in the SK Lite division may not compete in the SK Modified division at
Waterford or any other Speedway.

The 2 SKL's ran so they could officially list the field at 21 cars so they could get a full field for national points. The rules are at the tracks discretion and they will bend them for whom they see fit.

Since the 51's site does not allow a place for public comments, I'll address it here. After watching the video, and reading the comments put forth on the 51's site, I'd like to say that the 25 didn't do anything of the sort that he was accused of. He went the same time as the 51, but the 51 got sideways. That isn't jumping the start. He also accused the 25 of chopping the 51 off, which I didn't see either. He then complained about a bad call, which is interesting because a few years ago Janovic was in the opposite situation, where the 51 came down on the car trying to pass for the lead, contact was made, and the 51 spun. The track agreed the 51 was at fault but proceeded to say that any contact between the first and second place car, whether intentional or not, which sends the leader around, would lead to the second place car going to the rear. By this logic the call to send the 51 to the rear was correct.

Thanks for the info LMSC07CT. I hadn't looked into that rule and all night was saying if I was an SKL driver I would want to at least fill in the back of the SK feature to collect a little extra cash. I will say the only driver that may have made both feature is the 94. The 3 had a different driver (Frank M.) and thus would be allowed. My guess is they wanted to get 20 cars, thus full field for National Championship points. The 3 made the 20 cars so 94 had no impact.

So, does bringing the car count up to 20 for national points benefit the track or a/the driver(s)?

no problem fastang... I don't have anything against the 94 at all, seems to be a really nice guy, more power to him for the start and park. When I asked about showing up for SK practice I was told if I attempted to run the heat then I was ineligible to run SKL for the year. Confusing, but if they need extra cars to make the national points I'm sure a couple of us would show to help out.

Only thing that got me pissed last night was some lowlife stealing a few tools off the back of my trailer....
