Well i dont go on wednesdays but they dont ever have to qualify,so heck if the cat is that much faster why not make him add extra weight and or start last every week as a handicap? If he still proceeds to just drive through the field then maybe take a closer look at what kinda goodies are in the car. Just a thought

I think the rules call for added weight for each win after the second one? last year it was 50 pounds for the 3rd win, then 100 pounds for EACH win after that. so 5 wins and you have an extra 250 pounds. you cannot remove the weight until the end of the year. the few Wednesday shows I attended last year he started near the back every time.

the only illegal part is the one holding the wheel.

EDIT, from the rule book:

1st win – no weight penalty.
2nd win- no weight penalty.
3rd win- Add 100 lbs.
4th win- Add 100 lbs.
5th win- Add 100 lbs.
All lead will be mounted in minimum of 25 lbs. blocks, securely bolted through the floorboard of
the car in a position designated by Waterford Speedbowl Officials. 100 lbs. will be added each
time you refuse pre-race or post- race inspection. Lead blocks and steel barbell weights are
recommended to be used as ballast / weight. It is your responsibility to know and understand how
much weight you should have bolted to your car.

Do his fellow competiters question the legality of the car? If they do the track can request a tear down, if he says go right ahead then chances are he is legal. If not willing to allow the track to just give it a good check over without being forced then chances are they will find something. If the peeps he races with have no gripes, then why should anyone else? I just dont like calliing one a cheater untill they are actualy caught cheating. Questioning legality is one thing, but when you cry cheater i like to see the proof in the pudding. But thats just how i look at things. There is always that car that dominates, dont matter where every track has 1.

i will say that it pays to do your homework and work on your car... i believe if you talk to Glenn he will tell you he is always trying to find a way to make his car better and faster and the time he spends working on his car while other teams let their car sit on the trailer pays off by his repeated trips to victory lane, so he has accelerated past everyone else not because he cheats but because he simply works on his car. Now i am not saying he does or does not cheat but i will say this it is all legal until you get caught and if he or any other team at any race track found a way to get an advantage and the track officials cant figure it out or dont penalize the said team then how is that the driver or teams fault? I would be willing to bet that almost every competitive car on any race track has bent the rules or found a grey area to make them go faster but in a way as long as its not blatant cheating i think it is good for the sport because it makes other teams work and do their homework to keep up.

and..if he is cheating, the weight penalty will eventually catch up with him.

That's "if" he's adding the weight..."It is your responsibilty (driver) to know and understand how much weight you should have bolted to your car"....even if he did get caught cheating, its only a minor hiccup is his quest in dominating the x-car division 'cause that how the 'bowl penalizes there buddies.

It ain't difficult...just look in the passenger compartment, and you could take it out and have it weighed if it's that big of a deal.

watching those sorry front wheel drives lumber into a corner on right fronts is sickening, Im glad he's punishing them for calling those things cars.
nothing in racing looks as sloppy as a front wheel drive car trying to corner...period
BTW people..has anyone noticed the same car has finished 2nd every race and spanked the rest of the field just as soundly?Wonder why you're all not crying about that?

A front wheel drive car will actually go around the bowl better than a RWD one.

If someone took the time to build up a Scirocco ministock it'd smoke the entire field.

For what it's worth, I love seeing FWD cars three wheel around corners.
