Since NWAAS is off at Speedbowl this weekend we are making our first ever trip to Stafford tonight - I live in Montville and plan on driving up route 32. How long will that take? I think heats start at 6:15.

Let me know - thanks!

Thanks
Stephen

It's been a few years but from Montville that time of the day I would leave 1.5 hours before I wanted to be sitting down. With traffic up 32, parking, getting your ticket and finding a seat 1.5 hours minimum.

Have fun, took the wife there on our 1st date and yes the Firestones were actually made out of rock back then

Im near Mohegan sun and if i obey all trafick laws its 1 hr 10 mins. Can be done in 50 but i dont recomend it...... Crowds have been decent up there so if you like sitting up high i would get there early. There are a few shortcuts getting threw willimantic but once you clear willi its pretty much smooth sailing until you get stuck behing grand ma....hahaha good luck and have fun

We had a great time - beautiful facility, good crowd.

Took us an hour and 20 to get there as I made a wrong turn in Willimantic, probably lost about 5 minutes there :) - we got to our seats just as heats were starting up. Will try to get up there one more time before the season is done. We had fun.

Glad you enjoyed the visit You woulda liked it more if Teddy wasnt out to lunch. how about Joey Cipriano ending up on his roof? Glad the kid is ok that was a hard hit for the young gun. Maybe consider goin up for the SK 150. That race usualy draws around a 30 count. If you want a few shorcuts threw willimantic gimme a shout and i'll e-mail a couple little tricks i have learned

Last nights racing, at least in SK's, was a little off from normal. The track was slow and not a lot of grip with the high humidity. Plus I know a lot of teams weren't on fresh rubber banking tires for the 150.
