Well i decided to take a ride down last minute and kick back with the nice weather. Not as big a crowd as i thought but not too bad i guess.

Got off to a whopping good start with the good ole #94. What a Jack ***........ Blockin in the darn heat race. Come on man. I was just waiting for keith to wack him and bang he finaly did.94 then proceeds to slam into the 32 (i think it was 32) after the checker. A it was uncalled for being after the checker and B it wasnt even the dude who whacked him. Gaydosh then gets parked, with Keith to start dead last. Suitable punishment for each crime i think. Thumbs up to Tommy or who ever made the call.

Interesting feature watching keith come up to 4th with only a few cautions and pittin with i think 25 to go. Mark Bakal drove a good race on route to his 1st SK win at the bowl. Way to go dude, more to come im sure.
Congrats to all the other winners as well on a night that didnt seem to have much 2 groove racin, maybe due the humidity. Beats me but usualy alot more side by side action. Good fast night though as i was home at like 9:30 or so.

Yes, kudos to the track for being consistant. I was on the receiving end of that last week, and it was the right call.

The track was very difficult on the outside last night. I usually have good outside runs, but it was even difficult "in the groove" last night. Everyone was complaining about the front end sliding/pushing right in the middle of the turn. That made it very hard to run a second groove. The combo of the heat and humidity played a part I'm sure.

From what I heard Gaydosh missed Keith and hit Abele instead, haha. What a tool.

'Grats to Mark also, those last twenty laps was a wreck for me, haha.

It wasn't just blocking in a heat race, it was the last tier spot. You give that up just as hard as the lead in the feature IMO.

I think everyone there knew he wasn't trying to hit the 32, he was trying to get to the 57 before the 57 got yo the pitgate, got the car in the grass and/or the 32 turned left trying to set the entry into the pit gate up square and got run over....not knowing that was coming at all.

The second and best speedbowl racing groove goes away every year right after wacky wednesday starts. It will be good on nights when there is heavy/steady rain between Wednesday and Saturday or Wednesday gets rained out. Combine that with the heat and humidity just made it a bad n ight. We hung out up there forever and got by two really good cars on the top during our feature but it just wasn't as good as it was earlier in the season.

yea your right it was the last spot but he was blocking a little too hard for a heat IMO. Almost walled him a few times and from what i saw if keith didnt back out they woulda both wrecked. Keith aint no angel and im sure he knew he would be penalized for his actions but didnt care. which he was. Justin though acted after the checker and even though was tryin to hit keith and hit able by mistake is the reason you dont do that. Had he not pulled that stunt he prob woulda just been put to back with keith or not at all. Racin is dangerous enough as it is, post race on track actions should not be tolerated no matter when, where, who or why period. Go in the pits and duke it out there if you want. Im all for hard racin wether it involves blocking, pushing shovein and bumping. Its fun to watch. You just dont do that kind of stuff after the race is over on the track. Opinions will vary but thats mine and i think track made good call.

I don't think he was blocking as hard as everyone thinks, even last week for the win he ran pretty clean. The lack of outside groove is hurting more then the "blocking" everyone is claiming.

I spoke to the driver of the 51 after the race, he had no issues with the 94 after the race win.

I agree with you 100%. I think there's been a lot of bumping after the caution/checkers but this time it went completely out of line. There could've been track officials at that pit gate where Gadosh was causing his mess at. I think that the track made a good call making an example out of this but I personally think that it should've been a multiple week DQ. I personally think that way so that ALL the drivers on ALL nights never pull a stupid stunt like that again.

the drivers were told at the drivers meeting that evening that it would result in a one week vacation.

yea Justin ran a good race for his win no doubt. In the heat race though it just looked to me like he was pushin him up up and up. Maybe thats not blocking, but he was not given him an honest lane to race. Maybe it was more keith being aggressive as he always is, i dont drive the cars but just watch em. Bottom line to me is he did the 1 thing you just dont do. Too many bad things can result from it. From an official gettin hit,or flying debris or god forbid the way he launched over able what if he had taken is window net down allready? idk if its common practice to leave it up until in pits, but what if? I just hope he learns to put his emotions in check beacause he has come a long way and is pretty good driver and can be even better.
