What a race for the Mini's! I thought Panaroni was gonna take it 'cause he had a quicker car down the straights, but it looked like he got a little loose in the middle of 3 n' 4. Still, watchin him and Bellisle side by side for the last 12 laps was awesome. I was hopin Field and Kenny would catch 'em and make it a four-way fight for the win.
Late Model race went lights to flag, with the 07 of Brian Andronaco takin the win over Rich Staskowski and Bruce. Was hopin Big Country could get onto the podium, but Brucie denied him. Timmy and Bruce were racin each other HARD for fourth place during the beginning and middle of the race, seemed kinda pointless to me, shoulda lined up and gotten by everyone before they start racin each other. Dunno about you, but I was glad to see the 07 get the win, finally ended the long streak of either Bruce or Timmy winnin it, haha.
SK's were....decent. Loved the new bodywork on Joey Gada's 36, looks like a dirt mod, or as one of my buddies put it "a pickup truck body." Jeff Pearl pulled a **** move on Rocco and was put to the rear for it, dunno how Rocco didn't get hit when he game back up onto the track, the guy's got skills. Jeff Paul went on to win it, Rocco rallied his way back to what looked like 7th or 8th, and Pearl was dead in the water in the back.
By the way, I love Ceravolo's new paint, the yellow looks leagues better than that modern "vinyl vomit" look that most new cars have. Remember people, less is more.
Allison Legacy cars put on a wreckfest, was gettin some ice cream when they went green and heard the big bang, from what musta been Cole Trickle's car. Figures I was eatin ice cream when it happens. Guess he can't come into the pits.
Red flag for a big ol wreck into the T4 wall, which turned into a longer one 'cause the Ambulance had to leave. Took em about an hour in total to run the 25 lap feature. I think the Russ Wheeler car won it, I wasn't payin attention to the race, personally I don't like the cars, so I was hanging out in the pits.
The fog was in full effect by the time the Strictly's came out to play. Put on a great race as usual. there was a multi-car wreck about halfway through which damaged quite a few cars, including the #52 of Al Stone.
Great battles throughout the race between Ronnie Oldham, Ed Puleo, Walt Hovey, and Steve Barrett. Barrett pulled a killer move on Puleo on the outside of T3/4, went in MEGA deep, and made it stick.
Galvin took the win, with Oldham takin second, and Barrett beating Hovey to the line for third place.
Discuss the nights happinin's here.
Oh, and remember this, "If you turn the lights off, the fog will go away."
