What a race for the Mini's! I thought Panaroni was gonna take it 'cause he had a quicker car down the straights, but it looked like he got a little loose in the middle of 3 n' 4. Still, watchin him and Bellisle side by side for the last 12 laps was awesome. I was hopin Field and Kenny would catch 'em and make it a four-way fight for the win.

Late Model race went lights to flag, with the 07 of Brian Andronaco takin the win over Rich Staskowski and Bruce. Was hopin Big Country could get onto the podium, but Brucie denied him. Timmy and Bruce were racin each other HARD for fourth place during the beginning and middle of the race, seemed kinda pointless to me, shoulda lined up and gotten by everyone before they start racin each other. Dunno about you, but I was glad to see the 07 get the win, finally ended the long streak of either Bruce or Timmy winnin it, haha.

SK's were....decent. Loved the new bodywork on Joey Gada's 36, looks like a dirt mod, or as one of my buddies put it "a pickup truck body." Jeff Pearl pulled a **** move on Rocco and was put to the rear for it, dunno how Rocco didn't get hit when he game back up onto the track, the guy's got skills. Jeff Paul went on to win it, Rocco rallied his way back to what looked like 7th or 8th, and Pearl was dead in the water in the back.

By the way, I love Ceravolo's new paint, the yellow looks leagues better than that modern "vinyl vomit" look that most new cars have. Remember people, less is more.

Allison Legacy cars put on a wreckfest, was gettin some ice cream when they went green and heard the big bang, from what musta been Cole Trickle's car. Figures I was eatin ice cream when it happens. Guess he can't come into the pits.

Red flag for a big ol wreck into the T4 wall, which turned into a longer one 'cause the Ambulance had to leave. Took em about an hour in total to run the 25 lap feature. I think the Russ Wheeler car won it, I wasn't payin attention to the race, personally I don't like the cars, so I was hanging out in the pits.

The fog was in full effect by the time the Strictly's came out to play. Put on a great race as usual. there was a multi-car wreck about halfway through which damaged quite a few cars, including the #52 of Al Stone.

Great battles throughout the race between Ronnie Oldham, Ed Puleo, Walt Hovey, and Steve Barrett. Barrett pulled a killer move on Puleo on the outside of T3/4, went in MEGA deep, and made it stick.

Galvin took the win, with Oldham takin second, and Barrett beating Hovey to the line for third place.

Discuss the nights happinin's here.

Oh, and remember this, "If you turn the lights off, the fog will go away."

That wasn't Ceravolo's car that he was racing. That was the 15 of Harry Rheaume. Or back in the day it was wham bam Harry Rheaume. From what I heard Ceravolo's motor blew on the dyno. He's had more motor and tranny problems this year than anyone.

did you say you'd rather watch Bruce & Timmy fall in line than race side-by-side??? What's that about?? You can get directions to Stafford off their website if that's what you're looking for...

I'd be interested to see the Rocco/Pearl battle from a lap or two before the incident on the frontstretch and see how much contact was made between them (if any) before I called anyone a "****"... but that's just me!

Louie The Smile and Panaroni & Cheese definitely put on a show in the minis!

And congrats to Brian Andronaco Jr on his first career LM win.

Also agree the ALNS race was hideous!

I'd prefer them to fall in line til they get to the front and then race side-by-side, that better? :P

I've been known to be very outspoken on my opinions on wrecks, haha. Sorry if I offended.

They might've touched a few laps earlier, but turning hard left down the straightaway to put someone in the grasss isn't the smartest of moves.

Block block block, miss the turn on entry, run em up in the center, bounce off the nerf bar, lost where he is thought he was high, missed the block and got some love from the bumper, chop chop chop because he's under me. It's the Speedbowl racing style this year.

Everything in spotters meetings and about starts and restarts in drivers meetings at the bowl only needs to be pointed out to a few teams in the SK's. It never seems to get through enough and it seems like the same offenders many times over.

Ok i was not at the track but after watching the video on jp.com i didnt see anything i havnt seen before and wont see again. looked like a good couple laps with 71 pushing up and 57 trying to pinch down. 57 then gives a a lil bumper shot got him wiggling and 71 choped down to send the message if you can pass me then pass me,but your not gonna wack me to pass me. Blockin, choppin, bumper tag, call it what you will. From what i see in the clip all i see is 2 stubborn race car drivers goin at it. Looked like typical speedbowl action to me.

I think I'm in the same boat as LuvtheMods... at least, I share the same opinion. That being said, although I didn't say it loud at the time so Mrs JP wouldn't hear  I did think JP would going to the back after I saw what happened - which sparked a mild debate in the Family Section. Tons of chatter about what led up to it from various people afterward, but now after seeing clip, I agree it was just 2 stubborn drivers going at it. Not the end of the world... I'm certainly not gonna shed a tear for Rocco - just last week he threw Yuhas up into the marbles outta turn 2 to keep the lead after muffin' a restart (check Sid's View Episode 11 for a refresher)... this time he was on the other end of the deal. If he can dish it out, I expect him to take it some weeks too.

Cents - Duece - Out!

just to square up and get the facts out there. Jeff was sent to the rear for being an accident car. as for the type of move, lets try to use different words here.

The bumper came into play for one reason. Look at the apron, look at the cars just before the bumper gets applied. ;)
