So week three came and left. To give a good tittle for this weeks race event would have to be called.

"Mad House Insane Asylum" If you did not know big thanks for Matt Buckler for the idea.

So we start off with the Mini Stock heats and we get our first taste of the crash fest with the 4 of Alan Hall Jr. crashing hard on the front stretch. Danny Field won the first heat. Then a surprising come back with the 2nd heat going to Ken Cassidy Jr. The NECK was out next. The guy I was sitting next to this week was not impressed at all. Seeing that they were Go karts, I told him just watch and you will not be disappointed. And true to my word in both heat races we were treated to good racing and very good finishes.

Late Model heats came and left Palmer taking the heat win. Then we were treated to crash fest number two when the street Stock driver Greg Moran Jr got sideways in turn 4 and hit the front stretch wall very hard. Al Stone III took the first heat win and Josh Galvin took the 2nd heat win. The SK's were out next, Tom Abele Jr took the first heat win. I'm having my eye on his this year he could pick up a win soon. He was pretty good last year coming to the end. Everyone's favorite rookie from last year took the 2nd heat win Joe Perry. Then once more for the 2nd week in a row Kyle James took the last heat win.

With little time to spare the national anthem went on and the first race came up. The NECK's were up first with 20 laps. 15 Karts started and boy did they put on a good show. They had two big and bad crashes. One coming from turn two as a few karts got together and one kart spun and hit the back side hard into the wall. That was the first red flag, as they went back to green single file it did not take long for them the get together and that's when one kart had the worst crash of them all as he went into the turn 4 wall crashed head on and that made him spin flip and roll. The race was Red checker. I was not happy but oh well the NECK guys have b***s to do what they did out on that track. I really want them to come back soon. I don't know the drivers name that won the race with 4 to go sorry.

Mini Stocks were out next and I think Danny Field's new cache phrase should be "Ain't no stopping me, now!" as he took the impressive win once more. Ken Cassidy Jr finished 2nd and Christina Kellerman finished 3rd. It was fun to see Ken getting back on that horse and racing back to the top. And ten times as fun to see Christina finish in the top 3.

Then god may we get threw this post without saying something bad. If you did not see the SK race or went to the bathroom and had a hour and a half walk then I can not tell you how disappointed, disgusted and cheated I feel about the SK race. Race caution, race caution rinse and then repeat. For the sake of not getting in a long rant and getting people mad by my words I'm just going to move on. The win went to Ron Yuhas Jr 2nd was Justin Gaydosh for the 2nd week in a row (Lucky B******d) and 3rd was Tyler Chadwick.

Well after the long and crappy SK race trying to cool down from yelling and b******g I went to find something to eat. "Whats this after standing in line for ten minutes no fries? What is that you say? I have to wait ten minutes for more fries? Well good sir no thank you I'll take my money some ware but not here." I was thinking of leaving the track and going to Wal-Mart and get something from their. There was plenty of time we were waiting for the track crew to clean up the track, but I lost my ticket and would not get back into the track. So I went to the stand in turn 4 and I got my self some nacho's, god it sucked, the chips tasted like week old and the cheese was cold as ice. That's the last time I WILL EVER BUY FOOD AT THE BOWL. Next time I'll bring more Taco Bell or Micky D's.

Next race was the Late model race. It did not take more then one lap for Bruce "The Truth" Thomas Jr. to take the lead. It went like that in till the final 5 laps or so when a caution came out and Tim Jordan went side by side with Bruce and now we had a race. They went side by side Timmy looked like he was going to win but in turn 4 they went toe to toe and Bruce came back for the win. Tim Jordan finished 2nd and Jeff Smith finished 3rd.

Last race of the night was the Street Stock. I missed some of it as I was getting in the picture with Bruce Thomas Jr. The night was long and hazy when I saw the race. I remember a few spin outs but not much. Josh Galvin took the win 2nd was Walter Hovey and 3rd was Norm Sears.

Last notes before ending this. At the turn 1 if you seen a camera crew and don't know what was going on it was the guys who were making the movie "3 Weeks to Daytona" And this week I could not get a Sid's Vault Report I was low on cash next week for sure Sid. I wanted to get a Waterford Speedbowl Sticker to put on my work truck it cost 3$, It looks like next week I'll get it. For me 3$ for a sticker is to much. Well in till next week have fun and stay cool.

now your learning paul. If you go to the bowl with a lil cooler bag with your own goodies and kick back and watch the races you will usualy leave a happy camper....(this week excluded of course) But if you show up hungry and attempt to do the bowl food thing you will usualy leave aggrivated, ticked of sayin wtf and probly still hungry. That will never change until they want it to change. how do they change it? beats me but i was at the icebreaker this weekend and on sat i walked right up got chicken tenders and fries piping hot with no line. on sunday waited in line 15 mins cause the place was packed and again piping hot and pretty tasty too. Granted they cant be like thompson and stafford, they have better equiptment and more people working but they can do a better job than this. At the rate they are goin they will be better off shuttin the whole booth down and just say no food. I never hear of any problems with the beer booth though. hmmmm funny i wonder why that is?....

If they rented the food concessions out to professionals like Thompson International Speedway and Jack Arute's Stafford Motor Speedway do you might have a good chance of buying some good food in a timely manner.
