It was a good night. I wish mother nature would make up her freaking mind, Hot or cold. Since the WMT is coming back to the bowl there is no need for me to go to Stafford yesterday. And since they split the 150 into two 75 lap races, I'm not interested. I most defiantly will not go to Thompson. Seeing how every week the ticket price will be $20 or more. I will be at the Speedbowl all year long. I will be going to the September Sprint cup race in NH and might go to Lee in June to see the VMRS.
The truck race was fun and I'm glad to see the numbers up. It's to bad that they don't have a 50 Lap race this year. The Street Stocks was fun. I'm really glad to see Josh Gavlin clime out of his car and walk away from that crash. I spent my time in turn one watching the X-cars. They are awesome to watch. The late Models had some good action up front. Vary good race. The SK Mods was fun as heck. But there is no give and take for them. They need to race a bit more clean. Or the numbers will go down, down, down. I could only see half of the Mini Stock race. I had to leave but watching the finish on Sid's view was all I need.
Next week the Street Stocks will go 50 Laps. Will any Thompson or Stafford regulars stop by? And the the SKL return. Will Tyler Jackson see victory lane? Will "Podium" Paul French take the victory? We will only know this Saturday!
