That was one of the best late model races I have ever seen. Thompson or Stafford has got nothing on the bowl if you ask me. I can't wait to watch sid's view and watch the replay of the finish. Everyone seems to be putting the blame on Thomas. It was also good to see Wendel and Goss back. Larry always has a nice looking car but he can't seem to do anything with it. The sk race wasn't that great. I really haven't been too impressed with them this year but it's still early. At least we got 19 cars tonight and not 11 like Thompson. Too bad there were only 11 street stocks. That might have been the lowest amount they ever had in recent years. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

It was a good Late Model race because the 07 and 38 held up the rest of the field.

Side by side racing will always "hold up the field". happened a couple times in the mini race too. Notice you didn't mention that. I'd rather see that than one car running off by himself. It sure made for an exciting finish with cars scattering at the line. Bruce came down and started it IMO, but I'd like to see the tape to see if something caused it....loose off 4, thought he was clear, they all ran out of room, debris? lol

The SS car count was low. "perfect storm" of drivers taking, needing or getting a night off. Ernie Larose had his daughters prom festivities, the 99 has 4 weeks off(if he even comes back at all), I'm figuring Ted Dupre didn't get his car fixed yet(shame really.... he is a good driver and good guy to be around in the pits), not sure about the 25, the 95. Walt Hovey in the 16 is only running part time. Scott Cook hasn't been back in a couple weeks(figuring he is too busy with his Late Model @ Stafford). No Jack Ack in the 11 this week either.... not sure of the story there.

Well the LM race was good only because the leaders were taking up the track side by side, but i kinda thought that was the point of racing? Am i wrong on that? Would you have rather them just move over so Bruce can win? AGAIN. I felt Bruce cause that whole mess simply because he wasnt gonna win. If vidieo shows otherwise than so be it but dude does it all the time and i was so glad to hear curious joes kind words towards him even if it gets him a week off. Not for nothing but if 35 quit running you would more than likely see the LM count go up. These guys are sick of him either winning every week or wrecking everyone cause he cant win. Everything was pretty much typical bowl. Street stocks race good but its a 2 car show even if they start last they are just so much faster it dont even matter. Kinda stinks cause the other guys can drive with the best of em but they just cant keep up.

As for thompson and stafford not having nothing on the bowl,i have to dissagree on that one. Having attended every event so far between the 3 tracks I have seen 1st hand the differences.

Thompson has the edge on the street stocks/sportsman...26 cars and fun to watch and minis i give a push they run good both tracks, but with all of the inflated concesion prices and horrible counts in the other divisions it is just not worth goin anymore other than special events.

Stafford has 20 plus cars in 4 of 5 divisions. Boasting a full sk field with the likes of TC,Rocco,Woody,Ryan Preece..etc Thats just where its at if you like SK racing which i do. On a track that is hard to pass to begin with man i gotta say its worth the ticket to me.
Yea you dont get the side by side lap after lap,but they race hard,is fun to watch and will be my weekly track this year. Barring any signifigant changes that could happen.

Then there's the bowl probably the best track for all around racing but they just cant seem to get the cars, and when they do get some new comers they either get wrecked outa the box and dont come back or something happens politicaly and they dont come back. Same thing for thompson. Say what you want but stafford has the cars and keeps them coming back. Do they prefer to race there or is something keeping them away from the other 2? Good question but the counts dont lie. I love the action at the bowl and i am glad i only live 10 mins away so i can decide last minute to go or not and im never late and i dont get killed on gas. IMO it is not worth 15 bucks plus travel, but they provide a nice entertaining sat nite for peeps that dont need to fill the tank to go.

Its just a matter of what each individual enjoys most. To me Stafford offers the best ticket value, but gosh darnit i would so love to see a sk field at the bowl like they have up there. WOW would that be awsome. I just dont see it happening. Gotta tip the cap to em though,Thompson has the money but just dont wanna spend it and would rather blame it all on economy. Its not all economy,if it was stafford would struggle too, simple fact is the teams are choosing to race there. With all the controversy with the bowl they still maintain a decent show, not good not bad but decent.

Hats off to all the race teams in general for providing us fans with some racing threw these tough times. Without them we would we all be at the movies.

Always can count on Matt to put a damper on things lol. I don't know, side by side racing is what I like to see and the couple times I go to Stafford I just don't see it. Maybe I need to go more often. As far as $15 being to much for the bowl, i can't agree with that at all. Yeah Stafford is alot prettier than the bowl and gets a better car count but if waterford did get 27 sk's every week, how many do you think would be left at the end of the night? Like someone else said on here you don't always need alot of cars to have a good race. Just my opinions.

Bruce Thomas Jr will never be parked by the speedbowl because there's a clean double standard...Bruce and then everyone else. The 07 and 38 ran a great side by side "clean" race but the Bruce *edit* was too strong for the last 60ft...If people that say "Its was racing" or "he was going for the win" are complete idiots...there's a thing called respect and 35 has no respect for any other driver except 35.

MOD EDIT not a great way to start off as your first post. say what you want, but keep the name calling out.
