The act race sucked but the sk race was awesome. I do think that tc got screwed though.

Speaking of ACT, I didn't see results on the Bowl's website of here or The Chrome Horn. Are they public information?

Well i didn't bother watching the ledgends. Street stocks was ok. Act was a complete joke. God i hate that series and realy hope they dont come back. While 24 late models seems appealing and the cars are awsome, That series just does nothing for me. Too many stupid rules that take all the excitement out of the race.

SK-150 however was flat out awsome. Prime example of what TC brings to the table. I love watchin him race, and i love watching him lose and cry about it. You wanna put butts in the seats well thats how you do it. With him as a reg would be a huge plus for the bowl. I dont see it happening but damn that was a great race. Congrats to Ronnie on the back to back

I agree that the Legend Cars was not thrilling. It was nice to see someone ease win. I would have thought that the speedbowl crew would have tried something to add more cars to the field. Like put the three Bandolero that came to the track into the race. I really thought that they would do the same thing for the 13 Street Stocks and say "Hey Mini Stock guys since your still here want to race for 50 more laps for some extra cash?" I don't know but they did the same thing for the Truck Drivers. Mixed their race with the Outlaw Stocks. I just think with the Bandolero in the Legend Car race and the Mini stocks and sx or x-cars in the 50 lap shoot out would have made it even more entertaining.

You know I'm with you LuvtheMods the ACT is like the 2nd cousin no one cares about. They try so hard to be different from the K&N pro East series that they make the race boring and not fun. But the Bowl can not hold a 100 or even a 150 lap race with it's own Late Model class. they need the help of the ACT. And I have come to term's with that. In less the Bowl brings in a new Late Model class or haves another tour come in like PASS. Then the ACT is here to stay. You just have to bite down on your own lip and try and enjoy the hole thing. If I could change one thing about the ACT is that they need to put the lap down cars in the back of the field. Palmer and Rich was in the top ten on the lead lap. Then when the caution came out they were still in the top ten but started dead last. So it was a no brainier why they were lapped in no time. It does not give anyone a chance to fight for the lead. So Duh I wonder why Joey won the race with that big lead?

The SK 150 was fantastic. The only saving grace out of the hole weekend. Watching Keith and Ted swap the lead was fun as heck. Then at the end watching the grate and holy TC got shoved to the side for an all speedbowl original top three roster. After the race I took Ron's pictures. Heck I took like everyone pictures that morning in the Pit party. I talked to a few drivers had a few laughs. Then went to my grand fathers to see the last 50 Laps of the Sprint Cup Race.

I can't give the bowl a 5 out of 5 star rating this time. I'm going have to give them a 4. The lack or car counts a non point race and the ACT being dumb. It should have gotten a 3. But with the SK giving a fantastic show I'm going to give them a 4.

Now how about we try to improve the bowl. for the finally next year stick to the schedule. Don't change the schedule keep it as it is. A 20 outlaw Mini Stock race sounds a lot more fun then a 11 Legend Cars. Bring back the WOW for the finally also the X-Mods and the Bandolero's For the past few years the bowl had EVERY DIVISION race for the finally. It kind of made me sad that they change the schedule so much that it still seemed messy and un-entertaining. Granted I was wrong about the Outlaws they sure did bring a good race.

To save the bowl some money I've been looking around and I noticed that the ACT Tiger Tour. They have been getting good car counts 20-30 out of the 4 races. The posted purse is under 7G's, unlike the the ACT big brother series with it's 20G's. The bowl might want to think and look at that series see if they might want them on the schedule next year. Who knows our own Late Model guys might win that race.

Will the Mod tour or the K&N Pro East come back next year? I highly doubt it, But we all can still dream right? They could come back if having them did not cost a Arm and a Leg.

Well I'm going to post the pictures I will let you all know when I'm done.

Nahhh i dont have to bite my lip and chew on nothing if they bring ACT back next year. I just wont go that night, just like earlier in the season when i chose to go watch the MRS at seekonk. I tryed to keep up with all the schedule changes and up until it was confirmed that TC was running I would have been at seekonk this weekend as well. I skipped more races at the bowl this year than i ever have and it was by choice rather than just not being able to make it. 1 ACT race mis season is enough. I dont think they need even that but im not gonna cry about 1 race. I would not be opposed to them shaking it up a bit though and making finale weekend the sk-150 and an ACT-Type race with a flashy payout. All ACT-type cars welcome but run the race per speedbowl rules. Couldnt hurt if they are continue to run the ACT-type cars weekly.

Also the no points for sk's i think helped, but hurt the other divisions. Here's a thought instead of no points for minis or streets, how bout make it double points. That way even a driver with a big lead can lose it and someone trying to steal it away has the chance to do so. Could provide for an exiting race.

I hear ya Paul but they couldnt race banditleros with ledgends, that would be like running minis with the late models. They would be laped about 10 times. They shoulda just ran ledgends sat and the minis on sunday instead of hoping Flannery would drive back from VA to start last and win.

There are many things they can do differently next year, and while i do not know any of the BOD members personaly,I do know that Tommy Fox is a racer and knows whats up. I am sure he will be asscessing the whole season, and will make suggestions to Terry on how to better things as a whole. It was a decent season but can be even better,if he has the power to make it better.

How about the track scraps the ACT-style Late Model and adopt the Stafford rules. I dunno about you guys, but I was watchin Dillon Moltz and Ed Gertch in the Outlaw race, and while the Stafford cars are slower over a full lap, they look a HELL of a lot faster coming off the corners, through the corners, everywhere, cause they slide around a lot. I dunno if that had to do with the tire or not, but it was wicked fun. Hell, if the tire was to do with it, run the Stafford rules WITH the narrow outlaw tire!

+1
The pre-1993 late models at Waterford were the best racing division in southern New England, bar none. When they went to wider tires and other crazy rules it was the beginning of the end as far as I was concerned.

I wouldn't mind seeing them run full blown mods weekly. Have Mods,SK's Streets, minis and whatever they decide to do with the problem late models. Leave the Ledgends for wednesdays and drop the trucks all together. Im sorry to all those who like the trucks but lets face it they are a flop. A double shot of Mods i think would go along way as far as getting better weekly crowds. While they are my favorite type of car, I am not the only New Egland race fan that prefers Modifed raceing over ther other types. But Alas it can prolly only be done with sponsorship help to provide a decent weekly purse to get a decent field of ground pounders. If they could pull it off though i fell it would work out well. 1 good thing is they have plenty of time to think about things
