It's sad to see Timmy leave the LM's at the bowl. But I'm happy for him and his team to push up and try something new. I wish him luck in the VMRS.

Can someone help me? What is the new "Granite State Pro Stock Series" Is it a new open mod series a new late model series? How is it branched with VMRS? Is Waterford going to try and get a date from them?

Once again a snide "answer" from Matt, instead of any real information. The guy asks a legitimate question, and that's all you have?

Paul, the series is for Pro-stocks, which are called super late models in some places such as Thompson. The connection with VMRS is that the series is being run and directed by the same people who run the Valenti mod racing series, including officials. Much easier to get a new tour off the ground when the directors and officials are already established people.

This is a link to their website. http://granitestateprostockseries.com/

If I was Waterford, I don't think I would persue a date from them. They mostly look like a regular late model, and I don't think the interest for the average fan would be very high. Just as some didn't like the ACT tour, I think this series would get the same low reception.

Gotta agree with steve here, no need for sarcasm like that matt. Im sure there will be a day when you have a question and you'll get a smart alic reply from some one. As for the new series comeing to the bowl, well to me it all depends how succesfull it is. I have not read up on it but if it is a tour series then if the avererage raceday car counts are up then why not bring em in? Thats the thing with tours if they average full fields then teams have to go where ever the schedule brings them or they lose major points. But if the counts are down then alot of part timers wont travel because they dont care about points.

Thank you Steve520 and Luvthemods.

But I think it would not hurt to have them come down for a 50, 75 or even a 100 lap race. With the series only having 1 race so far I don't think the owners wont mind the ACT guys entering right? I don't know, they can do the new NASCAR points, in witch the ACT bowl cars don't get points. But it's not up to me but it would be nice to have them come down even if it was for a short race. I'm sure if it is for a short race the ticket price would be low.

Heck if they are almost like the VMRS, then they wont have the stupid lap down cars start ahead of lead car restart rule. That makes me a happy camper.

It something that could have been easily googled. As a matter of fact after I made the post I went and googled it, and they've got one race in 2011, a 100 lapper at Twin State.

I <3 sarcasm.

Also, you'd be wrong, I don't know everything, but a quick trip to google would have given him an answer much quicker than it would have for him to post and wait for a response.

Just my $1.38.

Then why not Google it, and respond to his question? Why the need for that kind of answer?
So, based on your reasoning... you will never need to ask anyone a question ever again. Don't go to the Doctor, just Google your symptoms, there will be plenty of answers. Google yourself silly and never get any "personal" or possible "inside" info that asking a question might provide. Have fun with that.

Google "internet troll" next
