That "blah blah" link is a new week including new info about what is going on. The included PDF's kindof point out the Speedbowl is going to be forced to you know what or get off the pot here and put this ongoing issues behind them.

Whatever happens happens but wasn't the latest sale (that got cut off after last racing season) put into motion based on the property taxes not being paid? Oh noes here it goes again.

Get in the ring MF....hahahaha I am shocked to be reading this stuff again....NOT I exspected a nice smoth off season.....NOT. This is just the way the bowl rolls. While Terry has done alot in the past 2 years to secure at least 1 more racin season and make minor but noticebal improvements,it appears he is not doing the 1 thing that needs to be done, which is pay the darn bills. I say appears as i have no concrete knowledge of what actualy goes on. Wether phils report is accurate or not we ALL know the forclosure is out there and is only a matter of time wil run out of glitches or ways to by-pass the system and these people are gonna want they're money and finaly say put up or we will shut it up for you. Thats not a knock on terry but just basic economic math. people are owed a ton of money and they want it. I dont know about you guys but i would want whats owed to me as well. I love the place to death but this will only go away when either the debts are paid,or they auction the place off. This year by year we will race dont worry is gettin old. I wish em luck and hope it all works out on the plus side for the track and everyone included on the track side of the fence. From teams to fans we all want the same thing. Only very few can make it happen though.

For the past two or three years every winter we all worry if the bowl will be back when spring comes around. And for one I am so tired of lousing sleep, time and energy thinking if the bowl will stay alive. I have faith in Terry Eames and his crew to get things done and make 2011 another grate year just like this year. I have not seen any of this controversy talked about on Shawn Courchesne blog. It might be that he is to busy or it's all hick-a-poo. I don't know. So I'll read Phil Smith's blog but I'm not going to take it to heart we went threw the ring of fire before this is nothing new. But for now I'm going to relax and wait for the 2011 schedule to come out.

In god we trust in the Speedbowl we believe.

I hear ya there Paul. Make no mistake the place is in big time finacial trouble. Wether Phils comments are fact or not hobwash, the point of the matter does not change. Maybe Shawn just doesnt care anymore to write about the same thing every dec-march? Beats me what will happen but in the end its all about the dollars. Always has been. All i know is i will be at the bowl now semi-regularly as long as there is a bowl to go to. My days of loyaly goin every week are over though. I had too much fun goin to different tracks this past year. I'll be there for all the good ones though....... :P

The "public information" aspect of this issue is just that...... public information. Allmost anyone can find this information out if you know where to look. The part that is amusing to this photog is the detail in which Mr. Smith goes about writing his article. Clearly and especially in his last shot across the bow at the Bowl (Terry Eames)Phil Smith allmost sounded like an attorney describing parts of his post. I realize that he has been at this a very long time while doing some good for the sport, and I also realize that his job is to report what the facts are OR at least what he believes them to be but I believe that the detail with which he has written his last post may have come only from...... an attorney OR someone directly connected with the situation. Yes he has been around a very long tie and has also written some really great stuff over the years but in this case I believe he was handed the snowballs from someone else that he is currently throughing..... God Bless the Bowl. ......... just hope I don't get a call over this one.........

Figures the track with the best racing in the sate is the one that's gonna go under.

Why doesn't the town of Waterford just make it a historical landmark?

I don't know why Martinsville Speedway did not want the Mods back. It could be for a lot of things. But I'll put my money on that they did not get a lot of fans into the place to keep them coming back.

Lets be honest about the date at Martinsville... Yes its a historic race... but look at the race this passed year... I think i heard numbers of like 400 ppl in the stands???

And why I don't kno... but NASCAR and the track puts the race on a SUNDAY in the HEART of Sprint Cup country... you're not gonna get a crowd on a Sunday...

I suggest you listen to Danko's radio show where Bolgger boy hosted, cause they had a talk about this
