I hate to say it because the NECKS guys seem like a good bunch of guys and from the feedback I've heard, their shows were good @ bowl before this past Saturday... but I have no problem if the track pulled the plug. Those wrecks were down right scary!! Just IMO...

Nobody has contacted me about this. This is the 1st I have heard about it. If this is true why have I not been contacted about our Series being cancelled ??

So Paul, If we use your reasoning(nobody has been seriously hurt yet, so why drop the division, oh and it "ticks" you off), then I guess we can remove all the fences all the way around the track. It would add a thrill, and besides, nobody has gotten up in the fence in a long time(Bob Potter in the early 90's comes to mind). So, as long as nobody gets hurt or seriously hurt, or killed, they shouldn't reassess the danger or possible outcome of a division that may be in more danger than others running at the facility?
I love them too. I told everyone I knew what a great couple of shows they put on last year on Wed. nights. I love the bump drafting, and slingshots, and flatfootedness(<--not a real word  ) that they do, but really, those were scary wrecks :o with minimal driver protection.
If the track has now made a decision based on what happened Saturday night, and the probability(key point here) of someone getting seriously hurt in that division if they continue to run there..... well then, we should support the opinion of the track and management. If they assess the situation and let them continue racing, then so be it. Maybe they can be slowed a little(restrictor plates anyone?), maybe the haybale idea isn't too far fetched?
For now, this is the right decision for the track, and the welfare of those drivers.

I like the restrictor plate and maybe tires around the track (hay bale's might take to long to get off the track).

Mucciacciaro got up into the T3 fence in last years SK finale, iirc.

Haybales are crap mod tires bolted together are the best plus they dont make a mess. And honestly i don't get where everyone is coming from when they say these karts aren't safe, obviously none of you have strolled over to the legends pits! I raced a champ kart for a season and would feel more comfortable anyday of the week strapping in that thing and doing 80 than one of those death trap legend cars. Also everybody keeps mentioning oh WATERFORD is just too fast for go karts well take a ride to tunder road and tack on 15mph rant over.
