I remember sitting in the stands and watching Bruce Thomas Jr hit Timmy Jordan any chance he got and this year plowing thru people coming out of turn 4... wreaking cars across the finish line or Tom Metcalf would play pinball with everyone and everything, Plemons/Stone/Hovey hitting people...oh and go way back to Dwayne Dorr too...I just want to add to the dash's list...

I'm not familiar with the Myers call, I dont get to see every race while working. if he was DQ'd, I'm going to guess he made contact under yellow, or it was a second offense during that event under green.

Myers DQ was not under caution and was the first race of the year and his only incident in that race. Shouldn't he have been sent to the rear since it was his first offense?
I believe Downing first incident of the year was spinning Puleo in the heat race. He also was not sent to the rear but was DQed for the night. Maybe it is because Puleos car was wrecked. I honestly don't know. I may be wrong as to this being his first offense of the year if I am then please correct me so I know what his first offense was.

I don't care if they get DQed or sent to the rear for spinning someone as long as it is the same for everyone. I am not saying that its not going to be the same for everyone as far a suspensions go for 2nd or 3rd offenses. I honestly don't remember right at this moment if anyone previously listed has had more then one offense this year. Just saying I hope the track will try to treat everyone the same.

Double edge sword IMO. I think the bowl has been on Ray with a microscope due his track record and rightfully so. His penatiles to me have been a little severe, but that being said Ray knew they were watching him and knew they were not playing around with him. If they came down hard perhaps they were making an effort to say hey dude calm down,we gave you another chance when we didnt have too. He still continued to drive wrecklessly. Fair or unfair really dont matter, the guy knew he was on a short leash. I do agree that all leashes should be the same lenght and i dont feel they are. I dont go every week anymore and will say it has been gettin alot better. I also feel like there is more to Ronnie leaveing other than the mod tour. I have no clue what was said on that night, but i remember saying to myself well thats it he aint coming back, and he didnt. I so wish whatever the problem is there could have been resolved because damn he makes the show better. Im sure there is alot more than myself and the general public dont know, but is more to it than the tour. A part time deal was the plan from the get go,but something happend to change that plan. IMO. I have been to races a very long time and when a popular driver says see ya later, there is usualy more to it than meets the eye.

like I said, I dont know all the details of the Myers DQ so I cant really comment on it. I will add this, Myers may have been warned on Raceceiver to stop whatever it was he was doing and he didnt follow the warning. I honestly dont know, I didnt see this race. I can only throw out things that could get you set down.

Downings first offense was "right turning" Puleo, blatantly into the fence under green opening day. parked for the weekend and he didnt learn a thing from it.

I think the thing that needs to be looked at is intentional vs. over aggressive. both leave someone holding the crap end of the stick, but the actions that led to them are not the same. the "tap, tap, tap spin" vs. "hooking someone's right rear" are different. the first is someone in a hurry to get to the front the second is retaliation for something. my point here may not come across exactly how I want it, so...if you want to talk to me about it, see me some Saturday night and I'll give you my best to explain it.

Another thing to remember is there is a new RD this season compared to years past.

I just feel like the guy had his chance, and all of his temper tantroms hurt him more than his on track antics. The writing was on the wall for the guy and he just didn't want to read it. He probably did not earn a season ban for this years actions, but he has a past record and has shown no sign of change. I realiaze alot of people say the past is the past, but considering what the past really is,better to nip it in the bud just incase the guy looses his nuts n bolts and really hurts someone. Almost every week it is something with him so either he dont learn or dont care. Why else would one not change his ways? The bowl gave him every oppurtunity for the guy to race and he blew it. He parked his car under the flag stand and well you all know the rest. You just cant be doin that, bite your lip, park your car and have words in a proper fashion in the pit area and things would be different. i really feel the track has been over hard on him,for the simple reason of sayinf hey we want you to race but you cant be doing this stuff. He kept on doin it. No one to blame but himself...

Exactly, calls for the most part aren't going to be the same. Tyler got into Diego opening day, Diego goes around, Tyler goes to the rear. It's also happened with the 51 and 25, 4 and 57 and so on. They weren't flat out dumps or actions that had 3 ugly laps leading up to them. Contact, car in front went around, someone goes to the rear. It's not always right but it's been the same call over an over.

Now if you've roughed up 3 different people on the way...it's a whole different story.
