So I wonder who allowed those sk lites in the regular mod race....if this is true...that's just plain wrong.

That's kind of why I was asking who gets the direct benefit of that decision? Being that Rocco is in the national lead, that would lead me to believe it was to help him out, but does the track get something out of it?

The 2 SKL's ran so they could officially list the field at 21 cars so they could get a full field for national points. The rules are at the tracks discretion and they will bend them for whom they see fit.

Since the 51's site does not allow a place for public comments, I'll address it here. After watching the video, and reading the comments put forth on the 51's site, I'd like to say that the 25 didn't do anything of the sort that he was accused of. He went the same time as the 51, but the 51 got sideways. That isn't jumping the start. He also accused the 25 of chopping the 51 off, which I didn't see either. He then complained about a bad call, which is interesting because a few years ago Janovic was in the opposite situation, where the 51 came down on the car trying to pass for the lead, contact was made, and the 51 spun. The track agreed the 51 was at fault but proceeded to say that any contact between the first and second place car, whether intentional or not, which sends the leader around, would lead to the second place car going to the rear. By this logic the call to send the 51 to the rear was correct.

I'd like to give my 2 cents real quick because I just so happened to have a front row seat, the 25 did jump the start and hit the 51 which got him sideways then decided to chop him badly the following lap. I've never had anything against Tucker but the last couple weeks he's driven like an idiot, he get a wheel on you whether it's the inside or out and thinks the track is his. Last week I was going by him on the outside at his number and he flat out walled me, this week he chopped my nose twice hitting my RF then did it to Janovic. Bottom line is the 25 was driving stupid and wrecked himself and got exactly what he deserved!

the track does not benefit from having extra cars in the feature. all competitors running for national/regional/state points benefit. the 3 was an X-mod for one race and an sk for the feature with two different drivers.

Just FYI - Kyle ran an incar and was cool enough to give us his disk to copy after the race, but for some reason I couldn't get it to import into my editing suite like I could with Pressel & Abele. I can view his raw footage, but his incar cam went out after 27-05 incident in Turn 1 anyway, which unfortunately was right before the 25 jumped start and 51-25 incident that happened right in front of the 21. Webisode shot from my man Zoom is best look we captured...

Agreed Ben

Dont get wrong i had a good time, glad i went but. Everyone in the place knew 57 was mad at 4,knew he was gonna wack him and he did. Does it matter if the caution flag came out at aprox the same time? No it does not he put him around on purpose and should have penalized for it,If they had been incedental then yea no harm no foul, but there was alot of foul to that one. I defend Keith alot as i feel he does take alot of heat for his natural aggresiveness, but in this case it was a bs call,he made intentional contact with another car.

Why did they undo the call? Did the race director change his mind or did someone else change it for him? Once a call is made, thats it I thought. While I think it was cool that Keith added some excitement to a wreckfest, I hope they have instant replay for everyone. They need to issue a red sock to each spotter from now on so they can throw it to challenge a call.

The top 5 in points all enjoyed sitting around an extra hour waiting for cars to cool down for tech making a bad night even later. Well 4 out of the 5 of us did. ;) If Muffy gets the red hanky for a review we should all get to pick the night we don't want to tech now also.

If you're referring to me Warren which obviously you are I only do what the officials tell me. I asked for a hook to get my car over to tech because I had a broken rack and they told me to load it. I have no problem getting anything on my car teched, I've never run an illegal part and never will. If they were to pump my motor they'd probably wonder why I am running such a piece of shit motor that has 3 seasons on it without a full rebuild! IDK I guess you need money for those kinds of things

The track may not benifit from adding cars just to fluff up the count, But they sure do benifit for attention and publicity. The more full fields they have for Keith to get wins puts gives hime more time in 1st place nationaly, better chance to win and given he lists the bowl as his home track,Headlines read Speedbowl regular leads national standings. Hard to beleive they dont benifit from that. I say Keith because he is the reason they even added the cars to begin with.

All that other stuff well i mean i just feel like Keith was handed a gift. Ronnie punted Keith and went to the back, janovick punted tucker and went to the back, did he deserve to be punted? Maybe/maybe not but the punter goes to the back. Keith was not involved in one of the wrecks but came to complete stop to avoid wrecker therefor makeing him an accident car so he went to the back. All right calls. But then Keith punts Ronnie gets put to the back.(right call) Then suddenly he his back in front. WRONG.
He intentionaly put another car around. Yes it made for an exiting finish, but that finish was the result from them allowing something that should not be allowed.
