Is it me or are all the schedules coming out early this year? Crushing rumors of what a schedule will look like before they can even start. Stafford schedule came out not more then 31 days after the last race at the facility. Word form one of my friends said that Thompson will release their schedule at the end of November or start of December. It even seems weird, that the Mod Tour schedule is looking to be release this Friday. So said Shawn Courchesne. If I remember the past two year schedules for tracks and tours of all kind were not released in till Mid-December or beginning of February. What could be going on here? Is everyone afraid of change? To try something new to get more fans into their seats? Are things just rushed to meet with the new age world? Did the track owners like the 2010 schedule and decided to copy it and past it for the 2011 schedule? Or am I looking to deep into this, and things are just how they are.

Also Is Canada a good track for the Mod tour to stop at? This is a hole new Country we are talking about here. Do they even like the Open Wheel Mods? Will they know the names of the drivers we all know and love? I'm all for the Mod tour going back to it roots, racing on half mile tracks and under. They have to many big name tracks on the schedule. So this seems to be good. But what other small name tracks will have the Mod Tour other then Stafford and Thompson.

And just for some sh**'s and giggles. If Thompson or Stafford got a big name tour to the track. Like ARCA, NASCAR Truck's or IRL Indy Lights. What would you rather see?

Anyone want to comment?

Yeah, they race them at that track all the time. I went to their site. pretty cool looking track with the same types of divisions we have.

As far as if this is a good thing? I think we should leave that up to the teams to say. I think any exposure outside of the Northeast is good. Some teams complained about running the great and almighty Bristol. I can't imagine they will be happy about spending the money to go to Canada.

Wait until each team has to have a full inventory of their trailer and the Canadian boarder patrol starts pulling them over at random and making them unload everything in the trailer.

I don't like having to go to Canada....its an 11 1/2 hour trip. Not to mention all the passport stuff...and if you have a DUI on your record, don't even think about getting a passport. I will have to go with the team, but I won't be happy. I am not sure how going to Canada will help the series.

I do however like that the NWSMT will be coming north to Thompson to run a show. That will be pretty cool. 300 laps of racing in a unique format. Twin 125s. One 125 lap race for the northern WMT and 125 laps for the Southern WMT and then the top 15 from each race square off in a 50 lap shootout. Shoulg be fun.

When did this start? I don't remember anything about DUI when I got my passport and when I renewed it.

I'm sure the southern teams, all 8 of them are thrilled to tow to Thompson also.

In the end the trip is the same! I still don't know how Northern cars can go South and come back North, but Southern teams can't come North and the go back to the South????????????
