It looks like I was not the only one ticked off with the ACT race this weekend at the bowl. Caution comes out with 5 laps to go half the field is lap down. instead of giving us the right order they seemed confused and spent what seem like 10 minutes just to figure out who went ware. But at the end they moved more laps cars up front. I also noticed Tim Jordon was moving as fast as he could I thought he was in the top 5 when the caution came out. But on the ACT website they have him 4 laps down. What the heck? How did he go 4 laps down? so instead of finishing 5th he finished 24th. Jeffrey Paul had a ruff start. A brake line went down and he moved threw the filed. Passing Bruce, by the way didn't Bruce get lap? Paul was in the top ten or so I thought. Paul finished 12th and Bruce who I thought was a lap down finished 10th. But you got to give thumbs up to the ACT crew for keeping Jeff Smith in the top 5. Since with the cation lap they moved the #2 of JR Baril and #14 of Joey Laquerre ahead of Jeff before the restart. Funny seeing how they were a lap down.

I'm sorry but the last segment just left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm going to stop now with that rant. That's my 2 cents. Anyone want to comment?

See you all next week at the Speedbowl for the Legends 5...I mean 30 Lap qualifier race :P

Rules are rules. If the ACT rulebook says lapped cars stay in the lineup, they stay in the lineup. You don't like it, I don;t like it but that's how the series is run.

Tim Jordan looked like he got a flat right after the final restrat, he was way up high against the fence coming out of 4 and limped his way around to the infield.

Timmy finished 4 laps down because he broke on the restart and pulled off.

Not sure how Bruce is credited with finishing all 100 laps - he definitely got lapped, even have it on tape. Only thing I can think of is they have a lucky-dog rule. He was lapped just prior to the last caution.

Not moving lapped cars to the back did suck - more so because our Speedbowl guys in the Top 5 had less of a chance to race for the win, but if that's how that series rolls all the time, can't complain for them being consistent.

Ah I forgot about Timmy lousing it at the end. I was distracted trying to figure out who was ware.

It was a good night and they had a good race going. But just like last year they left me with a sour taste in my mouth for the final run to the checkered.

It will be interesting to see what happens in Oct 9, 10th.
