G2 Radios presents The Waterford Speedbowl Message Board

as the title says, all good things must come to an end, and so it goes, this message board has found it's end.

as of July 30th, the message board will no longer exist, one member thought it to be a conflict of interest that I run the board and work at the track. rather than continue down that road with him, I have decided to end the board. I enjoy working at the track more than I do the aggravation of moderating this. I now understand why another message board ended recently. I ignored their warnings.

Very sorry to hear this Gino. Thank-you for sticking it out as long as you did. Your effort and dedication to all things Speedbowl, cannot be questioned.

Gino... Many thanks for the opportunity and privilege to participate in the message board. Just too bad it had to come to an end,but certainly understand.I can only imagine how difficult at times it must have been to monitor the whole deal. Though the "ride" was short,I definitely enjoyed it.

Thanks for trying to get something going and staying with it this long. Mike closed down his forums years ago and then Jen and now you - this says a lot for some of the people that post and posted on three boards in a short period of time???

Pretty SAD?

This is sad news. It's a shame but thanks for doing this Shadow. Glad someone stood up to the plate after JP.com died. But I don't think this is the end. Don't hold this up to me, but I've had a conversation with my father and mother and they are thinking of running a few forum with me. They are heavy forum buffs and love this on-line stuff and talking to good friends from very far away. No promises on my part but I'm going to try my best to make sure that the "Waterford Speedbowl Forum" does not die. Thank you Shadow for all you time and work.

gino its pretty sad when one person can find so much stuff to whine about and cause so many problems for you who is doing a great job not only with the website but also at the track i think i know who it is why not just block him from posting so everybody else doesnt suffer because one person is a dope

I thought about that, but only if I could find someone else to moderate the board. it's apparent that this one person and Sid both agree that an employee cannot be in charge of the moderation team.
