So Paul, If we use your reasoning(nobody has been seriously hurt yet, so why drop the division, oh and it "ticks"

you off), then I guess we can remove all the fences all the way around the track. It would add a thrill, and besides, nobody has gotten up in the fence in a long time(Bob Potter in the early 90's comes to mind). So, as long as nobody gets hurt or seriously hurt, or killed, they shouldn't reassess the danger or possible outcome of a division that may be in more danger than others running at the facility?
I love them too. I told everyone I knew what a great couple of shows they put on last year on Wed. nights. I love the bump drafting, and slingshots, and flatfootedness(<--not a real word

) that they do, but really, those were scary wrecks

with minimal driver protection.
If the track has now made a decision based on what happened Saturday night, and the probability(key point here) of someone getting seriously hurt in that division if they continue to run there..... well then, we should support the opinion of the track and management. If they assess the situation and let them continue racing, then so be it. Maybe they can be slowed a little(restrictor plates anyone?), maybe the haybale idea isn't too far fetched?
For now, this is the right decision for the track, and the welfare of those drivers.
