The "all you have to take is the green" lie. Aren't they buddies off the track? If I was buddies with Keith I would make sure he had the most accurate info wouldnt let him fail.
listen, I would love to keep debating this, but the same story keeps coming up. "take the green" was not a lie, no more than step on the brakes as you come up to a red light. just because I didnt tell you to come to a complete stop at the red light, would you continue on your way through it or does common sense kick in and you stop? of course not, you would stop because you know the rules of the road. take the green knowing the rules of the track.
I like Keith, I think he's a heck of a driver. he's earned my respect by his actions on the track. it's just a crappy situation with the wreck in turn two at the initial green. if they give Keith the points and money, then you have the "Scott is inconsistent with his rules and he's helping his boy win" cronies complain. if you enforce the rules as written in the book then you have the "Scott is screwing Keith" people complain. the best way to settle it was use the rule book and enforce the rules.
