They both have the total package as far as I'm concerned, they are both amazing talents, have great equipment, great teams, and most importantly, the backing to do it. They definitely put on the show week in and week out, I had a stopwatch on them and even running side by side they were 2 of the fastest cars on the track. As far as outhandling everyone that is a major part, but when you have the power they do it makes them that much better. From my point of view its pretty frustrating getting beat by them that often. The competition is so close from the top of the field to the bottom, and with it so hard to pass at Stafford you can be off your game a little bit and run 15th. Yea ponies help for sure that i know but if they and i say (if they) are doin something to gain i dont think it's these pins. Keith works for the motor shop and it TC always has the best. Maybe they just have fresh engines every week while the others go longer so get tired quicker? It more than pins.....

While I say there is more than making the work cheaper by using the pins, I agree there are certain teams that seem to have everyone else covered. While a lot of that is driver talent you sometimes sit back and scratch your head and wonder what they are doing that others aren't! I have been involved, I admit back in the '70s, with a team that went on a tear but it was legal (as far as I know) and lasted for 4 years. We did not win every week but we were very consistent and it was only at the bowl. Some of these guys run top notch everywhere they go and for years on end so you start wondering if they are that good, just it is their time or are they streching the rules. I don't have the answer but I still wonder!
